All heavy wood pedestal base, thick wood skirting and a solid top with a beveled edge on the round 4ft. table. The chairs have 23" wide seats!?? The oval shaped backs are 20" wide and have a very comfortable slope to them. Everything has been hand painted by a local artist with a perfect nautical design that works for this area. Everything is distressed to show all the curves and beveled edges perfectly. A definite MUST see if you're on the hunt for a beautiful set.
