Hello everyone I will due my best to convey the emergency we have going on. Due to some events that happened to my mom and younger siblings and a house that is falling apart (there’s toxic black mold, only bathroom floor is caved in and sewer back up all over, animal feces, bugs) My mom had to move immediately to a rental and the only one that would let her rent with her credit did not allow animals. So the dogs and cats are still staying at the house they moved from. Dogs are inside by themselves most of the day. Cats are outside on the porch. My family tries to come by every day to feed them but there’s no money or means. It’s very unfortunate situation. We have reached out to all shelters in 100 mile radius. All are full or not willing to take an out of county animal. and know the severity of situation but will not budge. We live in maysville Nc there is no animal control or shelters or rescues in jones county.
The dogs need homes to go to and so do the cats
Dogs:
Rocky 12 years old male fixed. German shepherd Rottweiler mix. Is mostly blind and has skin condition allergy to fleas and causes a smell and extreme itching. Also has arthritis . If no one can let him live out his days comfortably he will most likely have to be put down.
Tucker: 7 years old male not fixed. Chihuahua and pit bull mix. Long haired but small dog
Sugar: 2 1/2 years old pit bull mix. Fixed and microchipped fully vaccinated . Came from Carteret county humane society my sister rescued her but had an abusive husband who tried to strangle her and had to leave quickly so my mom took her in even though she didn’t have the means. Sugar has lived with a toddler and another dog and cat
All dogs are used to loud noises children, cats, other dogs and babies.
