Description: The car for sale is a 73 VW Super Beetle. I restored it 12 years ago taking it down to bare metal and building it back. The only part on the car that wasn't touched was the transaxle. The seats were stripped to the frame, the frames were fixed, then covered with new padding and covers. The suspension was rebuilt replacing worn and or broken parts, and the motor was replaced. In particular, 8 years ago, while on the way to have its first oil change it was in an accident. As it was still running and drivable my intent was to restore it once again but time has slipped away and I just don't have the time to rebuild it again. The car has been sitting for the last 8 years. When I parked it the motor was running however recently after turning the motor by hand and then trying to start it, the starter burned out. The car is worth $2500 as you could part it out for more than $2500. I have a clear title for the car. It would be a great candidate to be restored, or turned into a rail/ dune buggy.
